Since I moved back to sweden my workouts have been… non existent.
I blame this mostly on my hurting knee, but also on a lack of time, and motivation to find a new gym.
The good news is I’m finding new ways to work out. Firstly, I’m pretty active everyday. I bike to work everyday and often end up walking for over an hour a day. But that is not really enough.
So what I have been doing the last week is to buy online workouts from Physique 57 http://physique57.com/shop/all-products/online-workouts/ as I miss Pure Barre like crazy and these are about the same and I can do them whenever I have the time and it follows the same concept(and give me the same burning sensation in my thighs).
I have also been running(say what). I needed to reconsider what a run is. I think training for races damaged me because I used to feel like there is no point to run if it is shorter than 8k for some reason and my knee are not ok with that at the moment so I have been running short, and not particularly fast. I set my goal super low (2k) and get excited if I go longer (without any pain). I just needed to stop being so competitive (with myself) and just run to be healthy and sane :)
I will also, as of today, go to a new hot yoga studio. Pure Barre scared me for life and now I crave luxurious workout studios, and the gym just feel load and messy :) Hope this one is lovely!
