I keep getting chocked just how far 42km is!

Video from the Copenhagen marathon course, in a few days I will (hopefully) have seen it all live!

Hello!

Hello litte bloggi! I’m sorry for my absence!

School wise: I passes the math exam so that is great. One of the sweetest moments in my educational history. Also set my graduation date! Woop!

Race wise: I signed up for Copenhagen Marathon.. It was something I was completely sure I was going to run, but I just could not bring myself to sign up.. 43 days to go. I also signed up for a 10 k fun run for a charity with 3 friends and my mom in the beginning of June which I’m sure will be a lot of fun.

Travel wise: Going to stockholm for work next week and working on booking my trip to Florida. Currently looking for a place to stay at and waiting to get my visa.

Training wise: Did really good in march overall, but had a light cold this past week so I missed my long run last week, but today I did a fast 5k and then headed for the gym for some weights. Just signing up for the marathon made me crave a run!

What is going on with you guys?

I’M GOING TO THE US!!! (Florida, and maybe, just maybe I will stop by the best town in the world, the one and only NYC)
Couldn’t be more thrilled, and the fact that is not in 4 more moths does not dull my excitement one bit!
Picture is actually not shoot in the US but in Sweden, and I don’t really get baseball but it will have to do as an illustration of the great country in the west :)

A weekend off

One weekend, not very long ago, me and J went away to a Spa on a little island not far from Gothenburg. Here are some pictures from the icy cold walk around the island in the sun..

2012

2012 has been a good year, a bad year, a thrilling year, but most of all the year I kind of grew up. The year I really found my independence and my vulnerability. The year I figured out what I wan’t to do with my life (or the next couple of years) and when I realized I can’t have it all.

I lived in 3 different counties. Italy, USA and Sweden. I packed my bags, left wonderful friends at all three places and wherever I’m I now I’ll always miss someone, miss some parts of my life that only exist in a certain place. By seeing and experiencing these three wonderful places I somewhat know what is out there and that makes it hard to just enjoy my choices.

I ran my first Marathon.

It was amazing, bad, ugly, fun the best and the worst. By running it and finishing I learned LOTS about myself, my strengths and my weaknesses. All challenges and struggles afterwards lost it’s edge in comparison.

I visited Spain twice, I went to Rome, Milan, Napoli, Verona, the Italien alps, Marseille, Sarasota and Tampa, Gothenburg and Stockholm. I travelled by train, bus, airplane, car and on skies.

Thank you all for reading. I hope y’all will follow me into 2013, onto new adventures and a new marathon.

Statues in Marseille. The freezing temps are making me miss all the places I used to live where the outdoors are slightly friendly.

I have been gone for a while and I have some big news. But that will have to wait. Also a 2012 summary is coming up, as well as my goals for 2013. Just a tad late as usual:)

Back home in Gothenburg!

Back home in Gothenburg!

Spain run!

8k done! In Spain! On Christmas eve! In the sun! In a tank! Woop!

One reason why I love my pgs.. Looking at the map and realize all the places around the world I have explored with my runners on. That is really the best way to do sightseeing in my opinion.

I laughed so hard when I updated my run from Madrid.. I knew I was lost but judging from my gps I totally ran in circles.. The joy of tracking runs :)
